1871: Birth - Hepke de Wit was born in Surhuisterveen on 23 June 1871. He was the son of Geeuwke de Wit and Antje Gjaltema. ^[1]

1894: Marriage - On 1 September 1894 in Bedum. Hepke at the age of 23, married 22 year old Luiktje Vegter, born in Woltersum. The daughter of Geert Vegter and Wilhelmina Dijkema ^[2]

1938 - Hepke was widowed with the death of Luiktje, age 66. On 17 August 1938 in Ezinge ^[3]

1946: Death - Hepke passed away at the age of 75 on 10 October 1946 in Groningen ^{[4] [5]}
